Sichuan is located in the southwest of China with an area of 480 thousand square dm and a population of 85 million. It has over 50race such as Han , Yi , Zand and Qiang. Because it is on the transition area from Qingzhang plateau to the hilly land the landforms are very complex and singular, the types of climate are diverse, vegetation and species are plentiful.
The following is the bounty of Nature:
The southwest Sichuan, with mountains precipitous, and with rivers shouting.
The northwest Sichuan, with a plateau wide and expansion ,and with green grass raising thousands of sheep, oxen and steeds.
Jiuzhaigou Valley, a fairy world with the swimming fish in the clean and colourful water reflecting the blue sky and the fly birds.
The Top of Mt.Emei ,with thousands of clouds collecting together as a cloud sea, and with the raising sun coming out Buddha’s halo shining around the surrounding.
Dujianyan Irrigation system constructed by Libin and his son at ancient times , with a long history.
Ertan Hydropower Station with hydraulic turbines roaring like magnificent music.
The Old Road between Sichuan and Shanxi Provinces, with many tall cypresses, powerful passes, and old carved stones, like many ancient movements.
Gongga Mountains Area combining glacier, hot spring, crests with deep valleys as a beautiful natural picture.
The Legendary Tree of Sanxingdui was made of bronze with a history of 3000 years.
Shenhaijin Well of Salt Industry Museum combining diligent and wisdom of masses.
Kangding’s Pastoral Songs and Liangshan’s Torch Festival ,the special folkways in Sichuan.
